The Base Material

KT Corporation produces many of the critical raw materials used in Fusion Filters, including Microfibrillated Cellulose (MFC) and metals adsorbents. We also convert these materials into finished filter media and then into complete filter modules. Our proprietary technology allows for effective and efficient scalability of these processes, permitting tremendous rates of production.

Using MFC as a binder

MFC is used to immobilize carbon and metals adsorbents, acting as both the "binder" and creating a sub-micron structure for interception of contaminants organic and inorganic contaminants. In addition, fibers are coated with a positively charged polymer, providing effective interception of microbiological threats.
