The founder of KT Corporation has been inventing and developing new technologies for over 45 years. Many of these innovations have involved means to protect people by purifying air and water. Some of his early work involved developing technology and equipment to defend against nuclear, biological, and chemical weapons.  In 1983, he became the Editor-in-Chief of the Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Defense &Technology Journal.

Dr. Koslow formed KX Industries in 1989 as a joint venture with EXXON Chemical Company. KX Industries invented and scaled up extruded carbon block technology, which forms the core of the potable water filter industry today – a nearly $8 Billion market. Dr. Koslow has invented and licensed numerous technologies used throughout the potable water industry. He is the recipient of the Water Quality Association Award of Merit, the American Filtration Society Senior Scientist Award and New Product Award. He is a member of the Activated Carbon Hall of Fame and winner of the Anders Sharp Award for Engineering Excellence from Electrolux for his invention of the carbon block refrigerator filter. He holds over 80 patents and has published hundreds of articles and papers.
